Elijah Hopper

I am a software engineer at Databricks based in San Francisco. I am on the model serving team, developing high QPS, low latency solutions for custom CPU and GPU models.

I graduated from Georgia Tech with my B.S. in Computer Science in 2023 and my M.S. in Computer Science in 2024. I specialized in hardware devices and artificial intelligence. I was a research assistant in the Contextual Computing Group under Dr Thad Starner focused on wearble technology. I also studied communication with working dogs under Dr. Melody Jackson in the Animal-Computer Interaction Lab.

I also have professional experience as a car mechanic, a line cook, and an usher. I enjoy making music, backpacking, and film photography, among other things. I know all the underground spots.
